One of our ministries is serving the J. Brown Elementary school here in Columbia. We deliver 100 bags of food for students who may not have enough food at home. By providing these bags, we give them food to sustain them over the weekend until they get back to school on Monday. The school determines how many are needed. They have asked us for 100 a month and other churches provide some as well.

In each bag, there are nine different food items (oatmeal, granola bars, ramen noodles, mac and cheese, crackers, fruit snacks, fruit cups, cereal, and pop tarts.) Our volunteers put them together one Sunday night a month. We also accept donations to purchase the food.
