Tornado damage
Please contact the office with any specific needs due to home or property damage from Wednesday night’s tornado. We want to make sure all our Highland family and friends have a safe, livable place to stay. A few of the Elders are reaching out to help assess any needs, but some are having to wait for side roads to be safely cleared for travel.
We may be organizing groups to help with cleanup this Saturday morning. If you can volunteer to help, please notify the church office, or contact one of our Elders. We’ll have more information on cleanup efforts closer to the weekend.
As far as we know, no injuries have been reported from our Highland family, just a lot of structural damage, power outages, and downed trees. Keep prayers lifted, ears opened, and hands ready for how we can help our Highland family and community.
Food Bags
We only have a little more time to prepare food bags for Brown Elementary School this school year! Please help us finish strong by donating these items ASAP – peanut butter/snack cracker packs, macaroni & cheese, and fruit cups (packed in water, not juice).
Thank you for all your help in supporting this work this year! And special thanks to Shannin & Nikohl Alsup and the College/Young Adult Wednesday night class for assembling the bags this year!
Be part of a family
Our mission is to follow Jesus as closely as possible by deepening our love for God, and by loving and serving others. Come walk with us.
Having fellowship in person is the ideal, but if you are unable to be with us, we stream our services here as well.
Livestream on Sunday mornings
The livestream will start automatically, you don't have to refresh, but may take up to 30 seconds or so to load. Thank you for your patience...
